It’s R Day my friends, and I would like to introduce you to Supermurgitroid Robot No. 21.

One day after a late night at a concert, Robot No. 21 was talking to Robot No. 16 and misunderstood what was said. Next thing I knew, Robot No. 21 was walking around telling everyone they weren’t to take any bullshirt from anyone.

I asked what they were talking about, and I tried to sort it out with them, but they were adamant that they were right. They even went out and bought this t-shirt, and it’s now one of their favourite concert shirts. They mean so well, but they really are confused about it. I’ve suggested they look into some ear plugs to wear when they go to all their concerts, because I don’t think we can replace their hearing elements with Earthly robot parts.

Robot No. 21 has one of the biggest robot hearts I’ve ever met. They rock-out with passion, and they care about everyone with intensity like I’ve never seen.

It’s R Day my friends, and I would like to introduce you to Supermurgitroid Robot No. 37.

I’d often find Robot No. 37 out on the patio looking up at the sky – day or night. They’d be holding their rocket, sometimes they’d zoom it around, but mostly they’d just be holding it close to them, as a child would hold a stuffed animal.

They surprised me one day and asked, How does one get to space? I explained that usually one would go through NASA’s program. They went online and started looking into it. They got discouraged when they saw that the program is for humans only. So instead, we bought a telescope; now they can still sit on the patio and dream about space, but with their telescope they can have more detail.

They’ll often come running inside to grab the nearest one of us, so we can go and see a meteor falling, Saturn’s rings, or specific craters on the moon. I love that they share these moments with us!
