Blank Greeting Cards
I am devoted to creating hand-crafted, modern, fun, and colourful notecards for any occasion. Whether you’re looking for a cute card, or a serious one, I strive to create a variety of designs that work for any reason to celebrate someone special.
20 cents from the sale of each card gets donated to an organization that I feel is working for positive change in our world.

Postcards
I have three series of postcards:
- Canadian Travel Posters – Each province and territory’s symbols in a retro style drawing
- Sightseeing Robots – the souvenirs robots have sent me placed on postcards so you can send them to someone too!
- A special postcard that celebrates our Supermurgitroid Robot Friends, as well as supporting Mental Health Awareness

Sculptures
Come and meet my
papier-mâché robot friends!

Robot HS 1
Robot HS 1 is a soft and squishy handmade plushy that wants to be your friend! They cannot wait to go on adventures with you, or sit and watch thunderstorms, or have dance parties, and go wherever you want to show them!
Each one will be unique in their own way because I have made them by hand! I have crafted the pattern and sewn it together lovingly, ensuring it comes to you ready to share joy and whimsy!
These friends are made to order and so I will be making each Robot HS 1 after you place your order, which will take about a week.

Bookmarks
I have a mass collection of bookmarks. When I was little I’d buy one each time I bought a book-which was frequently. I’ve brought that love to designing my own!

Buttons & Magnets
I have taken many of my illustrations and made pin-back buttons and magnets!
These are only available in person.

SHIRTS & SWEATSHIRTS
Choose from any of my designs! Message me which design you want, and what colour and size of shirt or sweatshirt you want. These are also available at Raven’s End Bookstore!

proper expletives sweatshirts
I reverse appliqué by hand proper expletives of your choice onto sweatshirts with fun accent fabrics!
Generational Ties
My grandparents taught me yarn crafts at a very early age along with many other crafts. They were patient and allowed me to experiment, and encouraged me.
I remember the first scarf I knit. It was a gift for the person who drove me to kindergarten class. I can remember at least five different colours of yarn, and I’m not entirely sure it was straight, and it probably wasn’t nearly long enough to even wrap around their neck. But damn I was proud. I’d made something for someone that I cared about that would help keep them warm.
My grandparents also were huge supporters of my art. They entered my pieces into competitions, and they hung everything up that I gave them. They taught me how to draw perspective and paint ceramics.
My grandpa put a camera in my hands around the age of three, and I was hooked. The first time we went to take photos was when we were chasing hoar frost one morning. It was a beautiful sight, and a memory seared into my mind.
Learning
Now, more than thirty years after my grandparents started teaching me, I’m still honing my skills. I love learning new skills and techniques. I love how the internet has made that easy. I love how there are vintage patterns available and people managing those databases.
I like being able to honour the past, and do my little part in bringing it into the future.
Goodies
I like how I get to use my hands and a few supplies to make something useful, warm and above all fun.
It’s even more exciting to me if I get to share my creations with others – it’s like cooking a meal for someone to show them you love them.
I love that Leslie Born Art is like a general store – a mercantile. It’s a place for all the things I’ve wanted to make for a long time.
I’m very excited to share them with you! I hope you enjoy them as much as I’ve enjoyed making them.
