Please let me introduce my friend, Supermurgitroid Do-Gooder Robot No. 4!

Do-Gooder Robot No. 4 is relatable in many ways. Even in their robot land, sometimes others are well-meaning but Robot No. 4 isn’t ready to talk, and sometimes they just have a resting face which belies how they feel.

Either way, Robot No. 4 has learned to just walk around with a smile on their face. It’s just easier because then they don’t have to explain why they aren’t smiling, or have to explain that nothing is wrong, or that they aren’t ready to talk about it yet.

Robot No. 4 wants to share that they understand this isn’t the greatest way to deal with things, but it can just be easier. Since they know how these situations often go, they also want to share that they are happy to lend an ear should you ever need. They’re a quiet robot who will just listen or just sit and hold your hand—whatever you need at the moment.

A donation is made to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America whenever Robot No. 4 goes to a new home.

Do you have a resting face that isn’t quite what others expect? Visit my Threadless Artist Shop and you can share your feelings with Robot No. 4! Join the Supermurgitroid family, where every robot has a story, and every story inspires change.

Take care and thank you for being here,

Leslie

Introducing Supermurgitroid Robot No. 79

Please let me introduce you to my Supermurgitroid friend, Robot No. 79!

Do-Gooder Robot No. 79 is happily living in the moment. They always make time for play, for fun, for connection, for seriousness, for loudness, and for calm.

They continue to teach me about balance, and grace. They’ve taught me that living in the moment doesn’t mean we don’t have any ambition, nor does it mean that we have everything planned out to the minute. It just means that each day we are right where we are meant to be. Each piece of the day is a building block to make tomorrow one step closer to the goal. Each piece is important, otherwise the foundation for tomorrow is not as strong as it could be.

For right now I’m going to sit with Robot no. 79 and blow some bubbles, and know that this is important. If you would like to join us, and make a donation to ADAA (through your purchase), Robot No. 79 is available in my Threadless Artist Shop!

Take care,

Leslie

Introducing Supermurgitroid Robot No. 27

Please let me introduce you to my friend Supermurgitroid Do-Gooder Robot No. 27!

It feels like summer is coming to an end. Robot No. 27 is making the most of the last few dandelion wishes. They remember giving their robo-mama dandelion bouquets when they were newly built. It’s so nostalgic for them when the first dandelions pop up.

Robot No. 27’s human friends tell them dandelions are weeds, but aren’t all plants growing where we don’t want them to be? How can such a vibrantly yellow flower be something humans are so quick to discard? It’s the colour of sunshine on a cloudy day. It’s the only flower the grants wishes! It’s better than buying lottery tickets – dandelions are free and grow everywhere.

So Robot No. 27 is going to enjoy the last bit of summer dandelion wishes, and they’ll say one for you too! A portion is donated to ADAA or CMHA whenever they go home with a new friend!

If you want to make wishes come true with Robot No. 27, you can find them in any of these shops: Threadless Artist Shop, Redbubble or Art of Where.

Take care,

Leslie

Introducing Supermurgitroid Robot No. 2

We all need a friend like Do-Gooder Robot No. 2 in our corner. They’re celebrating the small things that sometimes get missed. They understand how hard the last few years have been. They see the hard work you’ve been doing, how you take care of others, and how you try to take care of yourself. They are your biggest cheerleader! They can’t wait to see what you do next.  Robot No. 2 wants to share their admiration for you by wearing it on their sleeve…I mean their chest gauge.

Whenever Robot No. 2 goes to a new home* a donation is made to the American Anxiety and Depression Association (ADAA) or the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), because we want everyone to feel well enough to be able to celebrate the small things.

*When any item with Robot No. 2 on it is purchased from my Threadless Artist Shop the donation is made to the ADAA, when purchased from Redbubble or Art of Where the donation is made to the CMHA.

Take care,

Leslie
